Basically, I like watching girls that aren't in Hololive or any other big corporate company because they have the freedom to play whatever they want. A personalized experience makes for a better stream rater than knowing the girl is under a deadline to finish the game before permissions run out or if she dares to stream past the allotted stream time the publisher allowed.
Girls who aren't in Hololive get to swear a lot more, and that feels more natural to me too. I don't need someone to curse like a sailor to have fun, I just like it when someone's honest with their feelings. It's more fun that way. Hololive girls are nice, but vtubers in general are nice, so you should always look for more people to watch who suit your own tastes. There's nothing wrong with branching out and finding more vtubers to watch.
