I'm probably never going to be a vtuber /vt/ so here's my idea of what my debut would have been if I had the necessary equipment for full, 3D rigging and a big ammount of resources:
>be male cyborg>gasmask, robotic body. Think NOD aesthetic from C&C>basically a more high-tech and darker theme than other vtubers>start advertising your debut as a female run-of-the-mill vtuber (other avatar required, maybe even another actress)>day of debut, standard meeting shit, stream interface is all girly and shit>5-10 minutes in and we decide to launch our first game>a prerecorded segment goes on but the audience doesn't know>countdown to launching, say, Minecraft>"Three! Two!-">before she can finish, this happenshttps://youtu.be/goQiwNZzoVA?t=37>fake vtuber drops dead>shove the corpse off the chair>"Viewership shifts more quickly than some people think.">properly introduce yourself, for real this time>stream interface changes, transitions as if affected by malware to a theme more appropriate (again, NOD aesthetic)>stream goes offline for a couple of minutes to give the audience some time to take it all in>https://youtu.be/M5EO13xGOiQ plays>play Command and Conquer 2 or somethingIt's never gonna happen because of my crippling social retardation and the ammount of effort/assets needed would be too much but it would be original for once. The scene of a vtuber fucking dying on stream could have viral potential. I'll admit that maybe the overall theme for the real avatar could be too edgy or stupid.
