Let me simplify this for you: if the only thing preventing you from enjoying the services provided by an entertainer is the presence of a person in her life which doesn't involve the entertainment itself in any way other than on a meta level, then your entire enjoyment is predicated on you having formed a relationship with that entertainer on the caliber of what that person already occupies, and you justify this by saying that the entertainment provided to you somehow must reflect real life, because a real person is the one providing it.
Because the person entertaining you is real, all that exists in the "game" then must also be real, and every external factor contradicting this reality corrupts any and all enjoyment you can feel from it.
