I climbed up a mountain at twilight today, left my bike at the bottom. While I was marvelling at this huge ass dam it got dark. The climb down among bamboo steps and darkness was scary as shit but my oshi kept me going. I just imagined her saying "salmon salmon" and also repeated it to myself, I make a lot of noise when I move so as to not scare wild animals. Salmon!
https://streamable.com/gug78jAnyways when I got at the bottom I started to notice lights in the woods by the river and I thought they were people with lights on them. But upon closer inspection it turned out to be fireflies! 100s of these little critters lazily zipping around.
The moral or the story, if you ever think of doing something out of your comfort zone... Just remember you have your oshi's blessing and encouragement and you can always draw upon her strength when you need it.
