I got the chance to playtest my game with a friend using parsec (not ideal but still helpful). It was really fun to play against an actual human and I got a lot of good feedback from the playtest about issues I need to fix. What was really encouraging to me is that he found it as fun as I did even in its in-dev state.
Also I went back to Melee afterward for a few cooldown matches and guys, I don't want to overstate myself or be too cocky, but I think I have a Melee competitor. "Killer?" No, of course not, but a strong competitor.
