We are no warmongers despite what anyone might think, and we have found peaceful solutions to any diplomatic issues between us and any other state or nation. We are not going to manifest destiny any time soon. Currently the Republic has a focus on economic growth and thus we are interested in fostering healthy relationships with all our neighbours. I know the Druids have very little to buy from us apart from some tools they might need, so we only ask them for the free transit of our merchants through, any deals about lumber can be done later once /uuu/ has clearly defined the state of what they are willing to sell away.
Of course, we know that the druids are diplomatically isolated from other nations due to their disorganized nature, thus, they ought to be the ones that initiate any potential initiave they might wish for, still, we ask for potential cooperation and further development of diplomatic relationships between the villages of the Druids and the Republic.
Again, I'll stress that the Republic has not gone to war with any other sovereign state despite the diplomatic issues encountered with others, and we have solved them by diplomacy. This will not be any different.
