>>28611340I do not have the actual first clue how, as I don't have any experience with the music industry....however, contracts are still mostly legal documentation to uphold others' to a standard to fulfill certain obligations of exchange...ie, insurance to make sure you have an actionable course should a partner in business, for whatever reason, is unable to oblige on their pledges to you....while most of the time it's not advisable to agree to changes, there's USUALLY some provision to enact changes to the agreement.
Again, I wouldn't have the foggiest idea what the deal entails, or what would better please Universal (if you're willing to change a deal to the objective benefit of your partner, often they'll be willing to re-negotiate), but I'm sure there's some avenue mori could take......or maybe not and she's just fucked for the next however-long.
