Things like concerts that would be seen as "good news" for fans don't register with the public at large, because no one who has limited/no knowledge of Nijisanji is going to care about that. What nijiEN needs for its reputation to improve is exposure to counteract narratives against them. Hell, it doesn't even necessarily need to be western streamers they collab with first, collabs with Holo-adjacent JPs could do a lot for nijiEN's image among western fans of holoJP.
