Yeah no shit there is great anime that is timeless and classic, but that era was also full of garbage shovelware schlock that nobody remembers or cares about. Obviously people only remember the good stuff, and the people who have these opinions conveniently forget all of the actual trash from that era and discount good modern anime like Cyberpunk, Megalobox, and Demon Slayer.
