I think vtubers are amazing. Their personalities and demeanors can't be neatly categorized by anime archetypes and any direct comparison to pre-existing media is difficult to do. As vtubing is entering back to the greater erm "anime-adjacent" and more "mainstream" discourse, thus content inspired by vtubers is starting to pop up - revitalizing the frankly decadent and derivative status of modern anime.
