Nina from nijisanji successfully replaced her audience from men to women, who actually enjoy said collabs. She sort of understood the game.
Veibae replaced her own audience with Soda's, becoming effectively soda gf while her goslings committed suicide. It worked because Soda had a big audience at the expense of becoming the secondary character.
The NGMi because of male collabs is the reason why, again, Uwu is wiping the floor with every single male here: make content people want to watch instead of what you want to do and you will have viewers. This radical idea is sadly not obvious to most vtubers.
Every segment of the vtuber audience is unique, and it is your job to understand them. Who are you targeting, and why? Who usually watch your streams, who do you want them to watch you?
