>>51920075I don't usually do this, but why not, we can turn this into a discussion.
There is nothing that "caught up" with her, because she isn't big enough on the scene where something as small as discussing exes would leave a lasting mark, specially considering she clearly doesn't want to do GFE too much, at least as Skye.
The problem, imo, for her slow growth is that she seems to sporadic with her content. She did Dark Souls, Hitman, Stalker, some Legend of Zelda, Titanfall, did a few drawing streams, Silent Hill, Skyestation. Don't get me wrong, having varied content can be good, but generally new viewers will want more of what they initially came for, so having all these different series doesn't necessarily translate into steady growth this early on. Ofc there are exceptions, but clearly we are not looking at one here.
The other would be that she is, by her own admission, a ball of insecurities, and as such struggles to reach out for potential collabs. In lieu of a strong brand behind them, smaller corpos have the strength of more chances for collabs, something which can help them grow immensely. Skye has trouble with that, as we have all seen with the Erika collab thingy.
As far as I'm aware, she also doesn't have any PL, so we are looking at a complete newbie on the scene trying to do her best, and stumbling occasionally. She is a very talented girl, and she can work on her flaws and grow, but only if she doesn't close her ears to actual feedback and constructive criticism. Althought only time will tell on that front, I guess.
