Look at Mori from Hololive, every single song she makes under the Mori character belongs entirely to Cover and UMG, if at any point she left the company, she can no longer use those songs, gain any benefits, any royalties, ALL of it belongs to Cover and UMG, because the IP used to create those things(that is to say Mori), belongs to them.
I don't understand why that dude is arguing about this stuff so much, nobody is an independent contractor in Niji, they are employees under contract and anything developed using their IPs belongs 100% to them, I imagine this is a huge reason Selen got suspended, her telling people to upload the song everywhere is a huge violation of that, Anycolor is actually within their rights to DMCA all the people that have uploaded that song.
