Hey guys, Numbers anon here. So I've seen a lot of discussion of Shylily 's recent ascent and I decided it would be a little fun to dig into the meat and potatoes of why she's become so consisently watched and popular.
Image attached explains a bit of this but Short version is since her meteoric ascent, Shylily has streamed like a goddamn animal: 170 streams (a 6 streams per week average) at a total of 1,451 hours streamed total. There is quite literally only one other major vtuber that streams that much and it's Ironmouse (5 days a week average for 10 hours per stream average). Lily's brand isn't just coomerbait, it's consistency in an industry where we rarely get that from Vtubers her size. She also utilizes a 7-10 hour time slot that usually has far less major competition to her, which means eyes go to her first when people are looking for Vtuber content during those hours.
Also worth noting: her sudden popularity with Korean fans comes at the exact same time as Korean Vtuber fans have had several issues with local Korean Vtubers scandals wise and big names streaming less. They started looking for other options and went to the one that was on all the time: The Womp Womp Whale.
Shylily is in a unique position right now where if she keeps streaming the way that she does, she very well could be the second or third largest Vtuber on Twitch by the end of the year, especially with Nyanners statistically stagnating over the last 3 months.
TLDR: Unless she has a major health issue, Yab, or meltdown, There are no goddamn breaks on the Womp Womp train.
