They were talking to each other through someone, likely Mel, and then there was a "miscommunication". They both stopped talking to Mel afterwards. It was a rrat at the time that Nux was making a competitor to VShojo. Mel threw a little monkey wrench in there and she caught pretty much no heat, then they offered Nyan a shit deal during renegotiation so she'd fuck off.
