If you're perhaps scared or wary of deatching from Vox, there's no need to panic about that; it gives you an opportunity to seek outwards, or even inwards for different ways to fill your life and expand upon the foundations that you have laid at this point already. Maybe try playing some of the games he likes or watch the movies he's into. To get to see things as he does and also as it's own medium of entertainment, you may discover a thing or two that you get to enjoy a lot.
Besides that if you don't feel like you want to do something to "feel closer" to Vox for instance; breaching out of your comfort zone is a good exercise for your mind to absorb yourself in things you haven't experienced to the fullest, only by a passing glance.
