Based on what we know from the merge of the KR and ID branch for Nijisanji, a hypothetical merge for a branch would be 2 months. Meaning that if done on November 1st, a merger would coincide with the New Year. And more importantly, the timeframe would still squeeze in the Nijisanji Music Festival AND Luxiem's Anniversary. Considering the sheer majority of the EN talents (barring curiously Alban and Fulgur) it's possible this program could be used as a way to introduce them to their JP audience.

Overall I count 8 that have been quite inactive as of right now (Elira, Rosemi, Petra, Millie, Alban, Ren, Kotoka, Kunai) maybe 9 if we include Ike but he has a 3D coming up and who know's how he'll perform after. That's still roughly a quarter of the talents being sparse in availability, with nearly half of your female members being unavailable. That's suspicious shit.

To add onto this, we didn't start seeing any ID graduation announcements until almost exactly a year after the fact. ID only saw it's first graduation ever in November 1st 2022, but the floodgates would burst open in April 2022 with the first batch of graduations, leading to a ID graduation every month from May 2023 to January 2024. Afterwards we've only just had Bonniver's graduation last month.

Based on what transpired, and the fact that allegedly their EN contracts are null and void if the branch closes down. We may or may not see the floodgates open if this does come to pass. If it was gonna happen I'd recommend marking your calendar on the anniversary of it's closure.
