Some board-tans are more complicated with in-jokes, i.e. /vp/ being two separate -tans for Smogonfags and casuals, /cgl/ being both a lolitafag and a cosplayfag, etc. I do agree that simplicity is good, but considering /vt/'s board culture is basically a bunch of twitch simps and vtuber wannabes it would make sense to have the board-tan be one in theory.
