VTubing isn't broading your horizons of entertainment anymore right now. It's settled into a set of recognizable patterns and archetypes. Just like how webcomics settled into archetypes like "Two dudes a girl and a couch with a console," "Sprite-based parody," "vehicle for the author's mental breakdown," etc. Vtubers have been settling into roles like "ASMR," "Zatzudan," "Endurance," etc.
You're just looking for innovation to disrupt a scene to reinvigorate that sense of explosive newness.
