I figured out how to inject a new character into the game. Complete with sprites, skills, a weapon and a special. No complex mechanics yet, but enough things are working that I can start prototyping the character kit.
I still have no sprites other than the shitty placeholders. If anyone can do pixel art and wants to contribute - that would help a lot.
