Ive been super excited about PRETTY GEMS PRETTY GEMS recently and I think i have the solution to obtaining pretty gems and their usage.
So risu is a magical forest. With magic. Gemstones are known for being catalysts for wands, staffs, orbs, and magic crystals exist.
Lets do some fucking magic
In terraria, you can combine acorns with gems to create gemcorns, which you can then plant in the ground to create gemtrees.
Thats right......GEMTREES
I WANT TO GROW EMERALDS AND RUBIES OUT OF THE FUCKING GROUND INTO TREES WITH THE POWER OF THE LAND
Now you may be asking what would i do with all these shiny rocks?
Well, BURN THEM OF COURSE
Like i said, each gem can be used as materials for spells, so for example rubies can basicaly be used as a source of fuel for fire, kind of like coal.
Each color gemstone has its aligned usage with some for healing, others for weapons even but they disintegrate upon use.
So they need to be replanted. Which is why I propose the molerisuners have an underground gemtree farm.
