During Mousey's birthday, Zen mentioned in her video to Mouse that they had talked about how much Mousey reminds Zen of Zen's mother. Hearing this story, I can see why. The state of illness, sure, but at the same time Zen talked about how she wished she'd have known her mother who turned her attitude around. I wonder if Mousey is a kind of stand in for Zen's mom, getting to know her own mother through Mousey. It's kind of touching in a very sad way.
