Hololive also has the "no contractual obligations" thing in the contract, but it expires after a certain amount of time, while Nijisanji's doesn't expire at all. Despite Hololive's expiry, there's still things you can't do without breaking contract, namely using a Live2D model for streaming on PL, which extends several months after the contract ends.
I'm not sure if this was the case in Mikeneko's case, because it's been a while, but all other cases have followed that exact format.
