Why am I attracted to Flip girls?
>>45161452Artcels and Electricians are completely different. I fully recognize that an AI could be patched into someone's house and run simple diagnostics to find the problem, but that AI can't fix the problem and it can't electrify and house that's currently under construction and won't be able to for a long time. Eventually, there will be robots that can go into people's open up their wall and silently call them a retard for somehow fucking up the installation of their fan because they didn't want to pay an electrician to replace it and now they have to do that anyways, but that day won't be for a long time. The battery tech is not there, and the cute little DARPA kill bots while capable of some real cool stuff have that pre-programmed into them an and are very expensive and will be for a long time, especially with the semi-conductor shortages and the threat to computer chips presented by a possible Chinese invasion of Taiwan. Artcels, programmers, and middle management white collar jobs can and will easily be replaced by AI in the near future because that AI doesn't need a physical body and doesn't really need to interact with the rest of the world. Blue collar jobs have already taken their hit from advances in automation and while some jobs vanished others opened up and were complemented by automation and they will be similarly complemented by AI.
