>>52527251In very short: Might be bitrate related. The worst you could do to an encoder is let it compress pure noise. Depending on it's target, it will produce macroblocks. I guess the shiny particle effects around the attacks and the fact that it's a very fast paced game exhaust the bitrate budget. It doesn't look great all the time but I'm also not focused on watching every frame so I don't mind. I notice it but it's not like a pause and get mad about the image quality.
