One thing people ofthen forget to mention is that Sora inspired them like greatly. Non of the hologirls joined hololive knowing they'll do idol stuff, not even Sora. Her whole reason was because she like streaming/radio/podcast or the likes. She said herself that it was meant to be some passtime activities that she'd do for 6-8months at most. But things progress differently as she also love singing and the soratomos really pushed her to go into that direction. She followed along as she saw their passion. That is why you can see a lot of fans contributions on her early songs and covers.
She kept on following that path ever since and her "seiso" demeanor just earned her the tittle of The Idol of the Vtubing industry. She never called herself as idol not then not now, people just called her The Idol. But, she always does her best to fullfilled her fans expectations, doing her singing reps, dance, showed up in events, solo carrying the sponsorships, went on collabs with everyone and anyone to promote hololive, do concerts, guesting on other vtuber's program, etc.
She is the core SOVL of hololive, the beacon of cute girl do cute things and doing her very best for her fans. The very person that inspired the other hologirls that jump into this industry either as a side hustle, hobby, or just because, to do their best and follow her footsteps.
She may not be the most successfull, but she certainly is the most inspiring.
>Also
She could have walked out at any point at that time when things got too busy and tiring, leaving yagoo and cover in shambles. But, she chose not to for her fans. Hence why we have the hololive that millions love today
