Day 2 of the Starvation Marathon.
Update: Slept last night. No dreams of food yet, as I have heard some people have. Prior to beginning this run the only thing I had to "eat" was 11 16 fl. oz. Red Bulls (which amounted to roughly 2310 calories). Not sure how much of that my body can actually process into nutrition. The effects of the Red Bulls were also, unfortunately, minimal (I expected at least a resting heartrate of over 100 and elevated blood pressure, but measuring my heartbeat with a clock indicated it never went over seventy beats per minute). I suspect they secretly reduced the caffeine and vitamin b contents, though I did experience a very mild "Niacin Flush." I have prepared chewable pepto bismal tablets to deal with the inevitable heartburn and indigestion an empty stomach will cause. Tomorrow I have work, in which case I will pause the video until my return. In order to maintain the visage of a non-starving individual, I am currently sipping on sweet tea (which I believe will stimulate my appetite, though currently, no effects have been experienced). Another reason to sip on tea is to stave off the boredom from the lack of stimulation. I will restrict myself to roughly twenty ounces of tea a day (or 160 calories) to perpetuate the calorie deficit. Between work and not eating, I should still starve.
