The build up to that moment and the comedic timing got me good. Not as fun when replayed via a clipped moment though, I noticed.
This and OP's example (which I also watched live) really reminded me that the experience just isn't the same if you just skim through the VODs and clips versus patiently living through the span of the stream as it happens.
