>>81271015Up until literally the most recent update about 2 weeks ago there was a mechanic with villagers and raids where players could very easily carry an omen effect that either required 2 hours to run out or to get milk (which isn't easy if your base is by the village or the cows are there)
So unknowingly a lot of people would end up wandering into villages or near villager trading halls and getting them killed during an accidental raid, and at least in vanilla this can be hours of work gone because someone got careless or just wasn't aware of the mechanic
Even if people aren't actively griefing you minecraft is such a perfect example of tragedy of the commons you really want to strangle anyone who can't clean up after themselves or keeps depleting public farms without letting them restock
