>>62251524I actually drew in some patterns on various parts of the clothing, but I'm not dead set on the patterns yet so I got rid of them for the moment. I don't want to just go with the typical squares and stripes but I'm too tired to design something more interesting right now. I also had the cap in the initial drawings form earlier this year but it's hard to put emphasis on the donkey ears while also having a cap. I'm currently experimenting with different styles of caps and positioning the ears in a way that makes them visible and easily readable while also being expressive.
Muzukashii. I want to go with a more ornamented look with beautiful textiles, think Yoshitaka Amano. The colors will also be of big import when finalizing the clothing design, which makes settling on the clothes more difficult. So many things to juggle. Character design is hard.
