The only time it's not that easy as you say is if you're following someone for a long time, invested a lot of time and other stuffs in them, got used to the community, and then there is a strong shift and you get told to "just don't watch if you don't like it lol", like come on, in those cases I feel it's a bit dishonest to expect people to just instantly move one like this.
