>>70891966Because it's the same product, just a different package
Is there something inherently wrong with the product, or the package?
The Niji wrapper was found to be foul, yet there's much speculation that the product is itself part of the package with livers being forced to take on corporate responsibilities beyond existing as what they're meant to be, an object to be sold
People may then begin to speculate on how foul the overall product is and how they effect things even without corporate responsibility, Rushia being one example that was held in Hololive.
An industry based on selling mentally unstable people who were poorly socialized growing up as a big social icon to other even worse socialized mentally unstable people might start being recognized as just an inherently unstable market. If you consider not the supply/demand of the market as a whole which is relatively stable since lonely people love their streamers, but the individual vtubers and the companies housing them which is where you have to pour your money into things are clearly way too dramatic
What other industry have you seen which is as schizo and drama prone as this one?
