The worst that happens is one of your Pokemon dies if it doesn't get caught fast enough. I have spent no more than 15 pokeballs on a full health mon. I absolutely fucking refuse to put in effort and it always works. The game gives you enough money through raids that you don't even have to think, you just spam pokeballs until it get caught. The only downside to this is Pokemon like Spiritomb or Altaria or who kills themselves, or pussy ass Pokemon like Kirlia who teleports away.
