Is it because cerberVT was thematically closer to Neuro? Is it because cerberVT was aware of Neuro already while Daresiel was not? Was it a difference in shilling? Both of their communities shilled equally hard at the start but in different ways. Daresiel viewers openly called for Neuro to proclaim her as the next raid target. cerberVT viewers or the streamer herself seem to have cultivated favor with the channel/discord mods.
I think that difference is especially interesting to consider. One approach treated Neuro as a bot to output favorable advertisement. The other treated Neuro as a human streamer that could be exploited for growth. Now when I say exploited, I don't necessarily mean it in a nefarious way. Just the typical networking and contact building you have to do in the streaming ecosystem.
