>>35445135It's way overhyped, but the manga isn't bad. It's just got a pretty unique style, both in art and storytelling, and I think that's what makes it so divisive. It's definitely not to everyone's tastes.
The anime, like everything MAPPA has been churning out recently, is a standard adaptation with flashy, catchy animation with no soul to it. It'll look cool and make good highlight reels. No one's going to complain it's a bad adaptation, but it's not going to add anything to the source material either.
