>>37249459>>37249544>>37249799Thing is that every project is its own microcosms. It all depends on management withing this project and your cooworker. I been working on different 3 projects within the company not including current one.
I went from my first project where half of people slack off and rest has to make up for it, to one with a cool coworkers, chill leader and middle manager who was a total psycho Karen.
Once I when I was telling my coworker story how 2 idiots were fighting "for fun" in front of my apartment and she said that she would kick their ass, I told her its not a good idea to attack 2 buffed dudes that were 30cm taller than she is, she said something about how she knows karate from school, I told her that a basic rule of self defence martial arts is to avoid combat and she could possibly know if they didnt train martial arts (real ones) themselves, so she told me that if she didnt defend herself once she would get raped (?!?).
Then worked in a very cool team with cool people where everyone had a clear task assigned and clear directions and data how to do them. Then I got promoted and assigned to a new project.
When I got here there was no introduction to the title, client's requirements or testing methods. It was just "here is document how to install the software, help people around and learn this way". So this is what I did, rarely anyone wanted help. And some time later they came to me and started being angry "why arent you working", so I replied "Im literally doing what you asked me to do, besides I do not have access to basic tools I need to work on my own, you never gave me those". So they tried to threaten me with cutting my pay, to which I responded that I have evidence I was at work and they are threatening me with an illegal action. And then what I described before happened. I will try to survive until I get reassigned. If I dont, I dont even care anymore.
