This board doesn't feel like any of the other boards on this site, and I think it's the only board that seems to have a real influence on its subject matter, especially at the indie level but even going up to the corporate level, which in any other medium would be all but completely untouchable.
In some ways I find the people on this board way more interesting than the tubers themselves, and the phenomenon of certain tubers attracting a certain type of person is really interesting to see play out in the respective generals. There's also certain other things that make it interesting, for example, on every other board you can assume the people you are communicating with are college-aged white males and you have a strong chance of being correct. So the interaction dynamic and expectations for how they will respond are basically the same everywhere, but it's not as reliable an assumption here. So it feels more diverse. Hell, there's even a not insignificant female population on this board, and also feels like there's a significant portion of unapologetic outsiders as well.
I don't know whether to call it like a city, a zoo, or an asylum, but either way it makes for interesting reading and communicating.
