>Face the truth. HoloEN and NijiEN are shit, HoloJP and NijiJP are based. Simple as. Well, some of the ENs are alright sometimes, but that's about it.
>I will never be Japanese, you say? True, but I'm doing my reps and it's getting better bit by bit. That's how I know JP girls (and boys too, mind you) never stopped being entertaining. I was skeptical about HoloEN like many, then they turned out to be not that bad and I watched a lot of trinity, even watched Ame more than my oshi sometimes. Now this new fad wore off and... EN is boring, both Holo and Niji. I'm tired of collabs without chemistry, half-assed streams, stale jokes, pandering to stupid EOP memes.
>Any major Holo Minecraft collab, for example, mogs every collab EN ever had. 5 minutes of Nijisanji AR live mog every content ever produced by any EN excluding maybe some of Ame's creative bursts. Take any EN and there are multiple JP vtubers who do the same thing but better. Korone, Pekora, Fubuki? Better entertainers than any EN. Marine, Mio, Roboco? Better social / collab organizing skills than any EN. Gens 3 and 5? Better chemistry than any EN group. The list could go on. As for Niji of course there's a fuckton of them but there are a lot of people who are really good at singing, collabing, zatsudan or gaming (or maybe even more than one of these things), males and females alike. If you're filtered by males then you're missing out on kino. I won't even start talking about new Niji JP wave, their first collab was so fucking hilarious that I literally had tears in my eyes from laughing.
>Actually every day since I started watching JP chuubas had some emotional moments: laughing in game streams and collabs, getting emotional while listening to utawaku, touching moments in zatsudans when they were talking about their inner thoughts, past experiences, current events, future dreams. But I have to try pretty hard to remember moments from EN streams where I genuinely laughed. There were a lot of times where I tried to keep my cringe levels low (especially in collabs) and endure for the sake of one or two good moments. Simply put, while JP chuubas were still entertaining (and a lot of the ones I watch actually came a long way and improved themselves in some sense), it got more and more difficult to put up with EN shit.
>>Calliope "5%" Mori who often sounded like she's going to fall asleep any second, both in solo streams and collabs
>>Ame with her increasing laziness, eventual pandering to memes and refusing to grow (and I hate these mood swings when she produces kino sometimes but also has moments when she sounds like she's bored out of her mind and hates her viewers with passion)
>>Kiara with her obnoxious trying to be funny every second which succeeds maybe once in a 30 minutes
>>Ina who is just there and rarely shows any initiative
>>Gura speaking in memes, refusing to leave her comfort zone and non-existent outside of streams
>>NijiEN as a whole having pretty good chemistry but pandering and pandering and pandering to EOP zoomer memes to the extreme
>I tried watching NijiEN2 but Petra is just boring, Rosemi is just annoying and Selen is really obnoxious with her retarded laugh and ""humor"" (honestly, the fact that she became /vt/'s darling shows the absolute state of this board these days more than anything).
>Last but not the least. All EN chuubas are really distant from their fans. Supporting chuubas is all about connection, no not a "parasocial relationship" you sociopathic retards, I mean the kind of connection where you are genuinely interested in ALL of your oshi's activities and wish them success in all of their endeavors and they do their best to improve themselves every day and properly show it to you. The one where you cry tears of joy when he or she sings in 3D for the first time. Not the one where you watch le meme clip of them with a retarded clickbait thumbnail and call it a day.
>You probably think I'm wrong, but there are plenty of signs that suggest otherwise. If you're a numberfag look at declining EN numbers and unwavering numbers of someone like Pekora or Niji newbie Leos Vincent who managed to get 20k in each of his daytime streams despite streaming alongside a lot of popular chuubas. If you care about Twitter or YT comments compare EN ones with JP ones, where EN are just meme diarrhea and JP (even English-speaking JP vtuber fans) try to have some actual discussion at least. If you care about what /vt/ thinks, look at what this board has come to. Half-dead generals, mulling over the same months old rrats again and again, tribalshit, falseflaggers, muh numbers, that's all. EN is dying. Not in popularity sense, but in quality sense. Soon they all will be fully consumed by mediocrity, eceleb shit and retarded zoomer "community". It's not too late to start doing your reps. Take a JP pill now, anon.
