3, in every sense is a subset of 2, it's 2.1 if anything - a specific case of grooming someone in to a specific activity or mindset.
Stepping back, case 2 is literally pushing someone down a certain path usually to the persons own advantage, whether it is a positive or negative reason behind doing so, it's still essentially removing their autonomy.
Grooming someone to becoming a top musician because the parent did it before, what if the kid didn't want to do it?
We've had numerous cases of pushy parents from vtubers in this thread, some still actively living with pushy parents unfortunately.
