I used anime as an example before: anime characters usually only have one outfit (or one style of outfit) and moments that deviate from that (like a formal outfit or the "beach episode" outfit) will get a lot attention during the reveal.

To be successful the new outfits must be remarkable.
It works like that on anime as well, take Darkness (Lalatina) on Konosuba. Her outfit reveal was one of the surprises in the show.
And it's not different for vtubers, if they change outfit every day it ceased to be remarkable
