Amelia Watson is the sum of all parts and many of those parts are what comes with being in hololive. The name, the model, the collabs, the appearances in holo events and concerts, the idol stuff, all that goes away.
It's NOT the same and I as someone who was a fan of two former holos I can absolutely attest to that.
