I'm well past 30 and I literally installed an entire new OS so I could make a shitpost of a model for a chuuba using an entire toolchain of software I had never touched before (because W7 wouldn't let me install any of it), and the entirety of my art history started last year in making wigglies by drawing lines and using the bucket tool in software I had never touched before (GIMP). For Christ's sake, figuring out how to draw a line to make a sleeve was like a caveman discovering how to make fire. It's literally never too late to pick up new software to do a thing™.
