I'm pretty into flower language, if you have an idea of what kind of meanings you'd like your cult's flowers to convey I can offer suggestions! Research into hanakotoba might be a bit difficult, I've noticed English sources often muddle a flower's meaning in hanakotoba with other flower languages, so if you do look into it you'll want to check multiple sources. As far as red camellias for the national flower go, I thought they would be especially fitting since when presented to a warrior they can mean "a noble death."
Regarding the kuroyuri, I think this would actually be incredibly fitting for your cult. The origin of the "curse" meaning for the flower is a story about about a samurai and his beloved concubine, Sayuri. The samurai loved Sayuri more than he loved any of his other mistresses, and one day, she became pregnant with his child. The rest of the household became jealous of her, and conspired against her while the samurai was away from home. When he returned, they had fabricated evidence presenting her as unfaithful, and claimed the child she was carrying was not his. In anger, the samurai slaughtered Sayuri's entire family despite her proclaiming her innocence, before finally killing her as well. With her dying breath, she again insisted on her innocence, and cursed the samurai -- by the time the black lilies bloomed, his entire clan would fall to ruin. In the context of your cult, the flower could serve as a warning never to grow spiteful towards one another lest it lead to destruction.
>clothingAh, yes, that makes sense. On the subject of the girl getting laid, there was mention of her mate. Does the cult's family structure work any differently from the Holy Kingdom's as a whole? I don't imagine there's any particular conflict, but I'm trying to get a better picture of how you've imagined the societal aspect of the cult.
>architectureNo need to concern yourself with it if it isn't of particular interest to you, I just wanted your thoughts if you had any. If you don't particularly care either way, that's fine too.
I hope I'm not rambling too much, feel free to tell me to just shut up if my essayposting ever gets out of hand.
