>>55478385it kind of depends what you mean. if you're thinking about aesthetics biceps are extremely good bang for buck as far as looking good, and they're also not awful for improving your lifts. if you're asking if i think it's worth going out of your way to develop them separately for pure functional reasons, then i mean, no not unless you have some reason to believe they're your bottleneck in pushing or pulling.
they do get a bit of a bad rap because gymgoers hate curlbros monopolizing the power rack, and also bodybuilders tend to tear biceps when they throw punches or even just carry something in a weird way. but like... you are not going to get that level of imbalance without... i don't know if people realize how autistically hard bodybuilding is. even without talking about steroids, somehow developing your biceps enough to the point where you have to worry about tearing them because of imbalance is basically impossible unless you are literally a bodybuilder. i have genuinely never even heard of a curlbro tearing a bicep.
tl;dr yeah do them if you like curls and wanna look good. if you just wanna get stronger, do them if you think your biceps are holding you back. you should have a good intuitive sense of whether or not they are.
