Why the fuck would they "schedule" a termination several weeks in advance instead of just firing her on the spot (or, at the latest, waiting until just after the shareholder meeting)? The only reason I can think of would be if they were legally required to give advance notice, but I dunno if Japanese employment laws work that way.
