She has been struggling with this voice issue getting progressively worse for years very publicly and I don't think any actual Hooman is surprised about the reason. It was obvious how much she always loved singing, how frustrated she would be when she wasn't able to sing to her standards in karaokes because of her throat issues, and how she felt like she was letting her fans down by not being able to do as much as she wanted. You can even hear how emotional she is reading that part of the script. Trying to imply she quit because she didn't want to do idolshit is unfathomably retarded.
As much as I hate it, I understand why she's leaving and hope it lets her heal. It's the most understandable graduation since Coco. It's just heartbreaking
