Hello There.
This is the C.E.N.T.E.R. report, covering Days 1 & 2 of the /vt/ League.
This report collects the attack bias of each team and compares it to their scoring and win/loss metrics, in an attempt to find a correlation between Attack Bias and Winnings.
Pic related is the raw metrics, with the team's match bias highlighted and the victors' bias in bold. In most cases, the higher bias wins, with most teams preferring the center straightforward attack. A few teams attempted to use non-central bias, but only /morig/ and /niji/ got that to pay out, with every other team either losing outright or coming to a tie.
Here's the average Bias for each team (L/C/R), ordered by the total points they got:
>/tsun/ :: 33% / 50% / 18% - Total Pts: 10
>/niji/ :: 19% / 55% / 27% - Total Pts: 8
>/yah/ :: 23% / 60% / 18% - Total Pts: 6
>/hfz/ :: 16% / 80% / 5% - Total Pts: 6
>/wah/ :: 31% / 55% / 15% - Total Pts: 6
>/yubicraft/ :: 19% / 62% / 20% - Total Pts: 6
>/hlgg/ :: 09% / 45% / 46% - Total Pts: 5
>/nasfaqg/ :: 25% / 54% / 21% - Total Pts: 5
>/koopa/ :: 27% / 36% / 38% - Total Pts: 4
>/vsj+/ :: 19% / 45% / 36% - Total Pts: 4
>/pcclg/ :: 14% / 55% / 32% - Total Pts: 4
>/towa/ :: 26% / 38% / 37% - Total Pts: 3
>/morig/ :: 29% / 43% / 29% - Total Pts: 2
>/become/ :: 18% / 51% / 31% - Total Pts: 2
>/wvt/ :: 18% / 45% / 37% - Total Pts: 1
>/nepolabo/ :: 33% / 47% / 21% - Total Pts: 0
While more data is needed to be certain, heavy center bias does seem to pay out well. In most cases, better performance was rendered when the team went heavy into the center.
