Human beings were never meant to be alone and I am certainly as human as a being can be. Weakness is inherent and I have accepted that but it doesn't mean that I can't believe that others are there to help. If I was asked by fellow human for something which I could provide easily and without great cost I would make the effort to lend my hand. Exchange of currency is a way to extort actions undesirable by the doer but a simple kiss or hug or pat on the back barely registers on the grand scale of applied effort, you could provide any of those things out of sheer good will and frankly if you don't possess enough good will to do so I think there's something wrong with you.
