Matsuri had randomly said before how she hadn't had a boyfriend for 4-5 years without any prompting as well as saying publicly how Haachama ghosted her after seeing Rushia's concert, so I don't think she'd make up a crazy lie easily if under pressure. If she wanted to lie then she'd have just said a friend or family to cover up having a bf easily since no one else can confirm it. This whole argument of having a bf hinges on Matsuri really caring about having a pure idol image, and any long time fan of hers can tell you how she's been in constant odds with doing stuff her fans don't like such as collabing with other males, apex, etc. Not to mention she already has done shit like bringing in her brother(which some don't believe) to stream, she could easily just have claimed it was that brother again especially if she was already aware there was another person in the house.
