She'd be an archer of some kind
Maybe she's been plagued by enough misfortune that she wants to do something about it, joins the player on the quest, and comes across some special artifact that allows her to manipulate time in some way
In gameplay it'd allow her to rewind a turn or rewind an action but it would have limited uses or something
